"Dust free" sandpaper has holes that allow sanders to pull away dust while sanding. This improves sanding performance and means less cleanup. To function properly, the holes in the sandpaper need to align with the holes in the disc pad.
"Clean Sanding" is a hole pattern that provides the optimum dust extraction when used with a vacuum regardless of alignment with the hole pattern on the disc pad. In addition this pattern provides for improved life and performance of the disc over no-hole discs when used without vacuum dust extraction .
