Road tested to the high standards of the European market, these sound deadening pads work to suppress noise and vibration in panels. 3M Sound Deadening Pads are conformable to allow easy fitting around a variety of stamped shapes. They feature an OEM-matching diamond emboss. These pads are self adhesive, paintable, and include a center perforation for easy door panel installation. -

I recently purchased a new Honda Accord, it's a very nice automobile but produces a lot of noise. I found the 3M Pads and used them on all the doors and portions of the engine compartment. The ride now is incredible, the noise has been reduced so much, I'm going to add more padding on the floor areas, the rear deck and trunk.
It is very easy to use. My learning curve was one door. After that it went very smooth. I would recommend this product to everyone who is wanting to reduce the noise in the automobile.

There is nothing on the 3M web page which discusses construction or specifications of this product; is it asphalt, butyl rubber, clay fillers, fiberglass?? Thickness?? Impossible to compare it to competing products without more information.

how much is the cost for 1 pad? is it available already in the Philippine markets?
