Product Description
The 3M™ Hand Masker™ Kit M3000KML is a hand-held, lightweight dispenser that provides complete surface protection in less time by allowing one person to apply both tape and film/plastic/paper in one easy step. The M3000 dispenses Hand-Masker Pre-folded Masking Film+ (up to 144”), Hand-Masker Contractor’s Plastic (up to 12’), or Hand-Masker Masking Paper (up to 18”) and Scotch® masking tapes (3/4” to 2”). Accessories include a paper blade, film blade, multi-purpose hook and a tack down tape dispenser. This dispenser can save time when preparing for painting, exterior wall finishing, drywall texturing, and floor sanding jobs.
Note: It is recommended to use Scotch-Blue™ Painter's Tape for Multi-Surfaces or Scotch® Brand masking tapes since they have a smooth, consistent unwind. Applicator does not work well with thin, paper-backed masking tapes. -

Had a two story paint job off a ladder so I purchased one with film from the Home Depot ... the curtain thing is slick but I could not work the blade properly, it just shredded most of the time. Sometimes it worked though and that was cool. Used scissors in the end . Still a sound purchase though. 3M should add a little zip blade of some sort .... mmm, I'm on to something ...
